Backpacking Drop Camps and Gear Drops

here is so much to see and so little time to see it in the Wallowa Mountains of northeastern Oregon. So why not see as much of it as you can without having to take a day or two just getting all your gear and food into the heart of the Wallowa Mountains in the incredible 360,000 acre Eagle Cap Wilderness Area.

Let us do the packing while you do the enjoying.

Backpacker Gear Drop
Backcountry Oufitters can haul your gear into a base camp from which you can climb mountains, hike, fish, or swim along the Minam, Imnaha, or Wallowa Rivers in country once traveled by Lewis and Clark, Sacajawea, and Chief Joseph.

And when you really have to get back to civilization, we'll bring your gear back out so you'll leave no trace until your return--and who wouldn't want go return.

Packer and two mules to pack your gear (up to 250 lbs) - $300.00 per trip.

Options for Gear Drops:
Add for riding a horse to and from camp, if we are providing a packer for your gear -- $60.00 USD each way per horse.

Prices are from Cornucopia, Boulder Park, and Hurricane trailheads. Other trailheads locations, quotes on request.
