Progressive Trips

|
hese unforgettable horseback riding trips slowly progress through the Wallowa Mountains of northeastern Oregon across unbelievably beautiful alpine terrain. With over 500 miles of mountain trails and 52 alpine lakes it's impossible to see it all, but you will definitely want to visit the Lakes Basin. It's possible to visit a dozen of these lakes in just a few days.
You will travel by horse through the Eagle Cap Wilderness from camp to camp and change camps every other day. Each day you travel along high mountain trails, over mountain passes, and camp beside alpine lakes and streams.
Everything is provided for you: all the food, all the necessary camp equipment, a cook, and a wrangler. You can sit back and relax while someone else does all the work. All you need to bring is your personal gear, camera, a sleeping bag, and a pad.
We recommend parties of four to six (minimum of four people) and trips of five to seven days in length.
